Buongiorno wine lovers,
I’ve been involved in wine blogging and the wine trade now for over 12 years. For a brief stint I was COO at Naked Wines, a consultant for VinItaly and have provided wine reviews, scores and editorials for several UK, Italian and Spanish websites and magazines including Sainsburys, Great Western Wines & wine.com.
I picked up the wine bug in 2006 whilst living in Rome and founded a wine company in Pescara a year later with nine Italian guys. I began my formal WSET wine education in 2011 in London. I’m currently enrolled on the WSET Diploma course. Since 2007, I have lived and worked in Rome, Venice, Barcelona and London and have a passion for Italian & Spanish wines especially indigenous grape varieties. If you can’t find me trying and writing up wines, then you’ll find me on the Camino de Santiago writing about that over on my hiking blog; Ultreia.
The Wine90 blog started in 2007 and has received over half a million visits from Italian wine lovers all over the world. This new version of the blog, started a decade later, documents my time in the WEST diploma course and all other adventures in wine, especially life as a wine blogger in London. My day job is that of Marketing Director at one of the UK’s largest and most well known holiday companies.
If you’d like to contact me you can do so at wine90 at gmail.com.
